Overview

Your Hierapolis guide will meet you at Kusadasi Port or at your hotel in Kusadasi.

The guide will hold up a sign which your name on it. We are now leaving the colourful town of Kusadasi behind, you will pass throughout the verdant countryside.You will drive for 3 hours to Pamukkale (Hierapolis) the east of Kusadasi. Half way there we will have break for any needs.

After you will arrive at North Gate of Hierapolis you will see the Necropolis (cemetery) of Hierapolis which is one of the biggest ancient cemeteries in Anatolia with 1,200 graves, Roman Bath, Domitian Gate, the Main Street, Byzantian Gate. Then you walk to the natural warm water terraces which were formed by running warm water that contains calcium. The temperature of the water is about 35.

If you would like to swim in The Ancient Pool, which is also called Cleopatras Pool they charge an extra entrance fee.

Afterwards, you drive back to Kusadasi Harbour or your hotel in Kusadasi.

Day 1 :

08:00 AM – Meet your guide at Kuşadası Port or your hotel, then depart for Pamukkale. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Turkish countryside, with a short break along the way.
11:00 AM – Arrive at Hierapolis Ancient City and explore the Necropolis, Roman Bath, Domitian Gate, and the Byzantine Gate while learning about its rich history.
12:00 PM – Walk along the world-famous Pamukkale Travertine Terraces, where you’ll witness the stunning white limestone formations created by thermal waters.
12:30 PM – Optional swim in Cleopatra’s Pool (Ancient Pool) for a relaxing experience in mineral-rich thermal waters (extra fee applies).
01:30 PM – Enjoy some free time for photos and exploration before heading back.
02:00 PM – Depart from Pamukkale and drive back to Kuşadası.
04:00 PM – Arrive at Kuşadası Port or your hotel, concluding the tour.
