WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

You will meet with your tour guide in the reception or in the airport of Izmir to begin the tour of this ancient city.

First you will explore the site and remains of the Temple of Artemis, also known as the Temple of Diana. Once considered one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world, this grand temple was destroyed in the 5th century.See the ruins at the site of this once-great temple, and admire pieces of impressive ancient Greek architecture. Next on our itinerary is the House of the Virgin Mary. This Christian shrine is believed to be the stone house that Mary was taken to by Saint John, and where she lived until her death.

According to timing, you will a have lunch break during your tour. After exploring other historical sites, you will be driven to your hotel or to the airport.

The tour will end with a drop-off at your hotel or airport in Izmir.
